OUR TERMS AND POLICIES

Our PRIVACY POLICY is short and simple: We only use the information you provide to contact you about our services. We do not share your information with third parties.

Safety - Key and Alarm Systems
We ask our customers to leave a key to their home at our office, and we take extreme measures to protect each key. We assign every customer key a security code and store it in a key safe. Managers will access your key the day of your scheduled disinfection, and then return it to the safe by the end of the day. No identifying information is ever put on any key. Also for your safety, we do not return keys by mail.

If you have an alarm system at your home and it is simple to operate, you can give instructions on its operation to your Sterilray technician. However, if your alarm system is complicated, we prefer that your alarm be left off on the day of the disinfection. Please refer to our breakage and loss policy for additional information.

Cancellation
If it is necessary to cancel/skip any scheduled disinfection day, please notify us at least a business day before the scheduled day. That will allow us to reassign the Sterilray technician to another appointment. We reserve the right to charge an hourly rate for the next disinfection if any clients cancel/skip their normal disinfection day. In the event we arrive to disinfect at a schedule time and our pre-arranged entry is not available then you will be charged a $35.00 lock out fee which will be applied to your account and must be paid before your next disinfection day.

Payments
Payment is due at the time of the service, so most of the time regular clients just leave us a check. Regular clients forgetting to leave check on the day of the disinfection must send it by mail or pay by credit card before other disinfections will be scheduled. A $25.00 fee is applied to all returned checks. One time disinfections must be paid by credit card with the balance paid upon completion of the job.

Damages
Sterilray technicians promise to conduct themselves professionally in your home. In the event of an accidental damage, notify our office within 48 hours. We cannot guarantee reimbursement for damages reported more than 48 hours after the end of the disinfection appointment.

Refunds
Since disinfection is a very personalized and subjective service, we cannot offer refunds to customers. However, we want you to be 100% satisfied with our service. Please see our 24-hour guarantee if you are dissatisfied with your disinfection. There are no refunds for gift certificate purchases.

Step Stool / Ladder Policy.
We will not allow our Sterilray technicians to use ladders or step stools higher than 3 steps for the safety of our employees.

Large and Heavy items.
For safety and liability reasons, we will not allow our Sterilray technicians to lift or move heavy items or furniture.
